SALTEK has been certified by the German certification company VDE in the TDAP program to level 2 with the validity for the "Protection" area. The above refers to the testing of surge protective devices within the scope of IEC 61643-11:2011 standard. We are the only laboratory with this level of VDE certification in the Czech Republic!
This certification allows us to perform a whole series of tests on our surge protective devices using electrical impulses, with the aim of obtaining internationally recognised VDE product certification directly in our laboratory. This will significantly speed up the whole process of VDE certification for our products.
In order to obtain the certification we had to meet a long list of quality and technical requirements, including the level of qualification of the test engineer team. Achieving the certification confirmed the high level of our engineers as well as the development environment.
The entire CTF (Customer Test Facility) certification program is methodically managed directly through the IECEE (IEC System of Conformity Assessment Schemes for Electrotechnical Equipment and Components) www.iecee.org .
